Brink
2018
Brink was the third and final PERCH event, a celebration of a year’s worth of work, care and dedication. We recognized incredible liberation in the queer/femme DJ’s and performers working underground all over the world, and wanted to use this opportunity to foreground them.
Brink PERFORMERS: Luna Mariposa (latinx DJ from Jamaica Plain) Harocaz (live performer from Dorchester) Bearcat (headlining DJ based out of Philadelphia)
We found that guidance in the form of Isabella Koen (Massart Fibers, 2019), a performer and material artist. She was integral in the process of cultivating a space that resonated with the tone of the music itself. She assisted us in the planning, artist communication and administrative processes.
