The writing is stark, straight forward, but occasionally takes on a dreamlike, obfuscated state, which is mimicked by the imagery: winter landscapes, blurred in motion, chilling and somewhat bleak, but peaceful.
This collection is part rumination on a continual journey of selfhood, part challenge to lean into romanticism, and entirely a practice in emotional vulnerability
